• Some of my first pictures were totally paranoid, because fear and anguish are feelings easy to express with limited means. It takes a lot of talent to represent joy and happiness without making it sugary.
• Before I started using Poser, I used to build humanoid characters by Constructive Solid Geometry. Arms and legs were made up of scaled sections of spheres and cylinders, or, as in this picture, of quadrics (2nd order polynomial equations). The formula here is : quadric {<1.0, -1.0, 1.0>,<0.0, 0.0, 0.0>,<0.0, 0.0, 0.0>,-0.3}
