• The inspiration for this picture comes from an "installation" by the contemporary Lebanese artist Mouna Hatoum. One of her works features a group of wire cages where a light bulb goes up and down. The shadows move accordingly on the walls of the room where the installation is, thus plunging the spectator in total disorientation.
• This image was created in 1994 and improved in 1997.
