Some professional 3D software for 2002: Xfrog (plant modeling sofware) and Rhino (NURBS modeler). I also spent some time learning how to use Terragen. As a result, there were few images this year, and most feature one or several of these great applications. One of the highlights of 2002 is "
Reach for the stars", an image created with Jaime Vives Piqueres, that was rendered in April 2002 on the International Space Station by astronaut Mark Shuttleworth. This project was commissioned by Chris Cason, coordinator of the POV-Ray Development Team.
